Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 1st January 2023

At Doholiz, we aim to provide our guests with a peaceful and memorable escape. However, we understand that plans may change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for cancellations, modifications, and refunds to ensure transparency and fairness.


1. General Policy

  • All bookings are subject to confirmation based on availability.

  • By confirming a reservation, guests agree to the terms of this policy.

  • All cancellation or modification requests must be made in writing via email or through our official booking platform.

  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method.

  •  All guests must present a valid National ID (NID) card

  • Married couples are kindly requested to present a valid marriage certificate.

  • Unmarried males and females are strictly not allowed to share the same room

    • One Child Complimentary (Per villa) Up to 08 years on Sharing Same Bed. An Extra Person Above 08 Years Would be charged BDT 1000.

       

      Check-in time will be 01:00 pm. and check-out is 11:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subjected to availability and may be chargeable. Please contact us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

      If you would like to pre-book Honeymoon , Anniversary , Birthday or Candle light dinner package ,Please book your preferred package at least two days prior to arrival.

 


2. Cancellation Timeline and Refund Terms

Standard Bookings (Building Section & Pool Villas)

Time Before Check-In Refund Amount
 12 days or more 100% refund (minus transaction fees)
7 to 12 days 50% refund
Less than 7 days No refund
No Show or Early Check-Out No refund
 

 


4. Modifications

  • One-time date change allowed up to 7 days before check-in, subject to availability.

  • No modifications allowed for peak season bookings.

  • Rate difference must be paid if the new dates fall under a higher pricing tier.


5. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

  • Bank/payment gateway fees are non-refundable.

  • Guests will be notified via email once the refund is initiated.


6. Non-Refundable Conditions

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • Guest fails to arrive (No-show).

  • Early check-out or unused portion of stay.

  • Booking canceled due to breach of Doholiz resort policies.

  • Force majeure events such as floods, storms, political unrest, etc. (unless otherwise stated by management).


 

 

7. Damage Policy

Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay and may be charged accordingly.
